When I buy a Transformer, it always takes me forever to get around to transforming it. I take it out of the box, and then it sits on my desk for a few months. What's the longest you've gone before you finally found the time to transform your bots? I think my record is four months.
I have transformers I haven't transformed. I have no display room for altmodes, so unless they come in alt mode, I can go a LONG time without transforming them. Let's see... HFTD Voyager Prime has never been transformed- between having a bunch of movie primes that essentially all turn in to the same looking truck and the fact that I heard his transformation is pretty fiddly, I just never found the need. MP Megatron has also never been Transformed.

This. And only because it's the last in a big haul. The longest it's taken from "getting toys" to "opening toys" was four or so days, but only because I was kinda in the hospital/rehab at the time/ Not spreading the box debris around the hospital, that's just not nice!
Oh wow. You guys have much more willpower than me. I usually have to struggle not to open the toy in the TRU parking lot. The longest I've gone was probably 6-8 hours and that was because I had to drive home from Botcon and I had a bunch of new TFs. PE Frenzy and Rumble only made it about 3 hours into the trip before we stopped for a bathroom break and I needed a plastic fix.
The longest I've gone is maybe a few days. When I received my Buster Prime, he scared the shit out of me to try and transform. I've actually only ever done it twice. He'd still be in his box if I hadn't had to take his batteries out...
Its usually transformed before I get home. Sometimes I wait to get home or I wait to open one later if I get two.
Picked up a few Actionmasters. Haven't gotten around to transforming them yet, but I'm excited to see their alt modes! On a more serious note, I may try to keep a figure in package for a while before I open it, but I always cave. I remember I first bought TFA Jazz, decided I would keep him boxed, but then BAM! He's out of the box and transformed. Usually once I free them from their plastic prisons it's the first thing I do.
United megs hasn't been transformed into gun... Got him at the start of the year. He may be the only one that's never been transformed.
To this day I have never transformed DOTM leader Sentinel Prime, ROTF leader Optimus Prime, or ROTF leader Jetfire. Also DOTM HA Thunderhead, whose robot mode turned me off so much as to never really want to pick it up. I tried Jetfire ONCE. Found it way too complicated for me to bother since I prefer them in robot mode for the majority of the time. A lot of my other Transformers get transformed into robot mode and then have never been transformed again. Like pretty much all my HA figures (not the basics). Then on the flip side I've got Generations Warpath that usually ends up transformed a couple of times each day.
Hmm, I don't know what my record would be. I've purchased some toys and had them stored away when life got busy. The longest period this ever lasted for was probably 4 years? Something like that. That's pretty rare though.
