Imagine if they formed a mega scraplet of some kind? The Autobots were sure to be doomed!

At first I was going to say the scraplets reminded me a little of tribbles, but after I saw their teeth, they were definitely more like Langoliers. They certainly ate more like Langoliers too, just cutting a path right through something.

I liked Bulkhead screaming when the lights went out. I liked Bulkhead screaming again when the pipes, cables, and conduits fell on him. Good ol' girly-screamin' Bulkhead.

The three Autobot's reaction when they first saw that tiny little cute scraplet was pretty good too. Well played.

Not a big fan of the bottomless fire extinguisher. That was even less realistic than Agent Fowler's non-existant flight suit last week.

Also liked Arcee's memory of "Dancing Bulkhead". I was kinda hoping we might get a visual flashback for that one, but my own imagination will suffice just fine.

The Optimus and Arcee freezing plotline felt a little off to me, just because I don't buy the notion of Transformers being vulnerable to cold. I was a little worried that Arcee and OP might decide to pull the old "huddle for warmth" trick, but they really didn't resort to that, for which I'm grateful.

Every single word that came out of Optimus Prime's mouth seemed to be part of some epic, profound, gradiose statement. Every single word delivered with gravitas, as if the fate of the galaxy were in the balance. Except when he said he'd bring back a snowball. Which he didn't. Liar.

    Optimus Prime = Liar

Overall, this episode really seemed to work rather well. I liked it, and it bodes well for the future of the series. No Decepticons present, yet still a rich and entertaining episode.

The scraplets were in the Marvel Comics??? Dude I need to brush up on my TF lore or I fail as a nerd.

Still stand by the statement the kids just seemed a bit tad too easy but that's my taste in narrative. Something always has to go wrong for the drama to work lol.

Definitely thought of Tribbles, but the Deep Space Nine reaction to them, when Worf said that they were responsible for almost taking out the entire Klingon Empire.

That make me wonder why didn't they eat the walls and such? Aren't some of the walls of the base metal?

Bulkhead said they prefer living metal, so after they chowed down on the three bots, they probably would've turned on the base itself.

They probably go for things that also have energon corsing through them. That's why they ate through the energon pipes connected to the space bridge.

Pretty fun of them to go with the Aliens feel to the story.

But the coolest part had to be getting a look at Wheeljack. I know the episode isn't until next week but I want a Transformers Prime Wheeljack figure already.

Let's chalk it up to his processor being a bit frozen and he and Arcee were almost dead..so the snowball was the last thing on his mind. Getting back to base alive was more important. I don't think Raf held it against Optimus and was more understanding about it than you are. Did someone promise YOU a snowball and didn't bring it?? Why so harsh? :lol  I'd say it was forgivable under the circumstances.

I thought the snowball was adorable! Sounded more like Cullen than Prime though, just because you know he'd do something nice like that!

Just noticed the Scraplets all had purple eyes....Purple seems to be the colour for the whole Dark energon/zombies/blood of unicron stuff too....a connection implied perhaps?
