So the spark extractor...kind of a mass genocide device huh?

    Brainstorm must've made it...

Makes me wonder; who looked at their spark, the soul, the very essence of Primus in their chest, and thought: Let's make a portable weapon that can remove every spark in the vicinity!

I wonder if we'll ever find out who/what invents all these fancy toys.

I freaking love Knockout, what a champ.

Dreadwing dying? Not surprised in the slightest.

Autobots vs Vehicons still looked like playing a FPS on God Mode, and then they deployed a WMD. Wow.

Movie Prime would've been like "LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOR" for sure.

Woah, what a sweet Episode. Man they got those keys back quick, too bad for what happened next. But was with Killing Dreadwing, makes me feel weird buying the toy
(well buying it at some point anyway) Loved the episode none the less.

Starscream need to re-animate Dreadwing and Skyquake (again), paint them black and blue and rename them Thundercracker and Skywarp respectively.

Well the spark extractor was probably made by the Decepticons, maybe Shockwave. I remember Optimus saying that not all of the relics were made by the ancients.

I think you mean Decepticon bodies, 'cause that Op don't truck with sacrificing humans - ask the 'Cons of that universe. I hope you have an Oujia board handy, though. Or a medium.

As for the episode itself, it was alright - I'm glad that the Autobots busted out the in-storage relics, though they should have been doing so from the beginning.

Speaking of relics, I find it interesting to note that the Vehicons do have sparks - they aren't drones, they have free will, and they chose to be part of the Decepticons, to continue their campaign of conquest even after destroying their homeworld. So, I didn't spare any empathy for their deaths. Compared to some of their WMDs - Tox-En & Cybonic Plague, for example, the Spark Extractor is a downright pleasant way to die.

Dreadwing's death was unexpected for me, but that's because I didn't follow through the thought process of "okay, what is this guy's likely future." I personally like the theory that it was suicide by 'Con.

Finally, I've commented on the hostage situation in the "Should the Autobots (Regeneration Spoilers)" thread, so I'll say no more about that here.

no, to my understanding the forge can't bring sparks( their souls ) back to their bodies.

thats an intersting thought though, prime could build a new body for him and maybe get a spark from vector sigma

we don't no how vector sigma works in this show plus even if they get a new spark...it wouldn't be dreadwings. Why would he go through the trouble anyway? you can say because he could be a great ally but that's risking their lives just to resurrect a guy who has killed many autobots and declined joining them

Dreadwing was hardly loyal and disobeyed Megatron more than once (in fact, in his intro episode Megatron expected Dreadwing to get himself killed). Not only that, he's incompetent.

Precisely. Megatron, like Voldemort, can give the big talk about his ideals and the rewards of loyalty, but in the end of the day he only cares for himself and considers his minions as tools, their value according with their usefulness. Starscream was more useful than Dreadwing.

To the ressurection of Dreadwing thing, Optimus could just smash a spark out of thin air and shove it in his body.

" It is believed that it can be used to make anything out of anything,[2] but it has been shown to be limited by the skill and knowledge of the Prime wielding it."
Forge of Solus Prime - Transformers Wiki

Maybe Prime doesn't know how to forge keys, but maybe a spark is a different story.......or it's just to complex to forge..... i really don't know. Vector Sigma maybe or there is something else on Cybertron that Prime hasn't tell the Bots. I would be very cool if the Bots find Dreadwings lifeless body. The respect between Optimus & Dreadwing is there so he will surely try to get him back online! I really hope so.....
