Allspark.com has reported the the news Transformers cartoon WILL see distribution outside of the US. Plus article in question reveals some new info regarding the cartoon itself

    Link to the article

With the head writer of X-Men and TMNT on hand this is sure to be a good series. Don't know what to expect looks wise with the character designer of Teen Titans onboard. But still I've got good hopes for the first US produced TF show in years

    Marty Isenberg? As in Skir/Isenberg?

Well, BM was actually a good show, just a bad fit for a continuation of G1-BW (and a little overboard with the melodrama - but that can be overlooked). But since this series doesn't seem to be a continuation of anything, it'll probably be quite good.

I hope the inevitable DVD releases are of the complete series as opposed to the piecemeal "best of" we get for most other shows.

G1 and BW came in complete season sets, and BM came in a complete series set. It was the post BM series that came piecemeal, and most will argue that even that was more than those shows deserve.

If we are talking early 90's Xmen cartoon writer than I am looking forward to this cartoon even more.

I bet the teen titan designer will have familiar looking human characters. Bot wise, I expect something fresh yet familiar.

Both X-men series were great (the marvel-verse and evolution series) and the new-(ish) TMNT was an awesome show, so I have high hopes for this thing. Hell, Danny Phantom isn't that bad of a show either, for a kiddy Nick show anyway. This thing is already shaping up to be far better then the last four series we got, mainly cause it's gaurenteed to not have 20 minute, rehashed, powerup/transformation sequences in every episode.

Cool. It's nice to see that there will be a good chance of seeing some quality writing again.

154 episodes spread across 4 seasons? Wow, that exceeds any TF series we've seen so far!

Those shows have a 'cult' following to warrant a boxset. TRANSFORMERS "Heroes" won't (yet) and those in charge of releasing it may just treat it as another ENERGON/CYBERTRON variant. I was just hoping they don't....

I'm definitely ready for another western flavor on the cartoon franchise.

154 episodes is amazing. They're banking a lot on this thing being a hit, it looks like.

Gosh....it's been so long since I've been motivated to watch a TF cartoon (post BM YUCK), hopefully it's not a letdown.

    Translation: kids' show.

Well, maybe we'll at least get some cool toys out of it.

I'm actually kinda excited about this new series though. It's been staffed with quality talent and it's being produced in the US. And 154 episodes creates all kinds of room for some great story arcs and deeper character development, and an epic kind of scale too.

Targeted at a different audience... with character designer form teen titans and writers for TMNT and Xmen... sounds like a big dissappointment in the making.

I hope they look to Avatar to see how a cartoon should be produced.

PLEASE don't make it a "SUPER SUPREME LASER ATTACK!" type Japanime show!!! I am sorry but I hate those types of shows. Please let it be more in the line of Beast Wars Character development or Generation 1! Every show after those have been awful mainly because they are a joke. I have high hopes so I hope they don't drop the ball on this one.
