Hopefully they announce who's picking up the show in Canada shortly.
Though YTV has a history of airing this kind of stuff, I seem to notice that Teletoon's been getting a lot of newer CN material of late.
"The show's 2-D style will present a new twist on the original"
Um, yeah, the old stale 90's Batman Animated Series 2-D style that has been used over & over & over again is a "new" twist.
I hope there isn't anybody actually stupid enough to buy that one!
More like a lazy, we don't wanna hire real artists, no talent, cheap ass, any monkey can do better twist. Looks like they're hiring right out of kindergarten!
It's original for TF.
There's nothing lazy about it because its done intentionally.
Kewl. Show us how easily you can draw it then.
That was just what I was thinking.
He can't. He just shows up in every Animated new thread to spam about how crap it is then dissapears.
Btw, isn't this the first 2D animated American-developed Transformers series since G1?
Yeah, I remember this guy from the movie threads...
In any case, I'm glad to hear Animated is getting as much air-time as possible. I'm still hoping it stays successful long enough to introduce Shockblast.
P.S. Don't any geewunner fanboys correct me on this, his in-canon name is Shockblast now due to copyright issues.
You are an uneducated tool.
Do you know how much an episode of Transformers Animated costs compared to, oh, any previous Transformers series episode? Do you know how many people were involved and had some sort of hand in touching Transformers Armada thru Cybertron that turned it into a sloppy, horrible mess, compared to Transformers Animated? Do you even know who the character concept designers are, both in Hasbro and in Cartoon Network?
The answer is no. You don't. Cuz if you did, you wouldn't be spewing off this crap over and over and over.
As much as I HATE Animated's "style", it is not copying Batman's style in any way. Seriously, that show was awesome with great art (especially for the time) with a staff that seemed to care about story, continuity, and dialog.
Hopefully Animated will measure up to that, it could have an awesome story yada, yada. And yeah, the art sucks. Some folks like it, don't know why, but then again story trumps art. I'm not too hopeful about the whole thing, I remember admins talking about how Armada was going to have "lots and lots of guns" and basically be chock full of awesome. It wasn't.
But don't lump Batman into Animated's category, man. That thing is a classic and my younger relatives STILL watch it on tv everyday and are engrossed.
Someone doesn't have to be a geewun fanboy to correct you when you're wrong. Hasbro already reclaimed the name Shockwave. It got used on a Mini-Con in Cybertron, and he'll be Shockwave in Animated, not Shockblast.
Don't forget the Robot Heroes SHOCKWAVE figure.
shows how much Galvatron397 knows.
Eh, everyone makes mistakes sometimes.
Are you serious?? That's awesome! Oh wow, this'll be great! Thanks dude!
Half the posts on this thread are replies to noisemaze's rants.
Good to know someone has the rights for LatinAmerica ... I suppose the show will be aired on Cartoon Network LA since most (if not all) CN shows end up there eventually.
And Ed Bailey is right ... TFA's style isn't the same as BTAS. It's closer to The Batman, Teen Titans and the Legion of Superheroes, which are in a way related to BTAS, but not the exact same style. Not even JLU and Superman used the same style as BTAS, but an evolved version of said style.
I want to watch youtube clips of Animated in Spanish. It'll be like Univision without the T&A.
It's not Animated, but it should give you an idea.
