sounds interesting.... have to say, in terms of Merchandise.... there is one thing missing.

Diecast vehicles. you can buy 1:24 scale model cars from just about every single model of car ever made, both TV/Movie and Real life vehicles, yet i've not heard anything about the TF's being released as scale model cars....

i'd buy a few of those

You can consider those RPMs/SpeedStars as Die-cast cars. :)

Here I thought it said Enterbay, and thought we'd be getting 1/6th scale sized high-quality TFs or something.

I'm excited about this for specific reasons :)

There is a collectors market for cards, mainly costume, autos and sketch cards that they put in the packs. For instance, recently one of my Marvel: Heroes and Villains cards so for 130 dollars on ebay. Lower end sketches by unknowns or less in demand artists go for .99 to 50 dollars.

I have an update on this.

While browsing the March edition of Previews at a local comic shop, I noticed (on page 345) a pre-order listing for the June/July 2011 issue of Non-Sport Update Magazine (Volume 22, No. 3) with a "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" cover feature. As we guessed, EnterPLAY will not only be publishing a DOTM trading card set, but as you will note on the cover below it will also include DOTM dog tags and foil chase cards:

And both Previews and NonSportUpdate.com include a brief description of what will be included in the issue:

(Unfortunately, the "free promos" mentioned are for Rittenhouse Archives' Star Trek TNG collection.)

Furthermore, it appears that movie merchandise has actually "hit shelves" two months early!

I found this set of DOTM boys PJs at a Lee's Premium Outlets store in Commerce, GA. They are dated 2011, and even include a newly-designed DOTM merch logo:

I'm going to be posting several other TF merch items shortly to the "Official TF Merch Sightings" thread, which also appear to be part of DOTM merchandise as they are also dated 2011.
