Which is better? Energon has the nice satellite alt mode, awesome gun, and the gold bits. He fits in nice with my classics. I don't know about the new one yet...what do you think?

 

DOTM Shockwave I can't really see on a classics shelf. So anyone looking for that is gonna have to go for energon.

 

Definitly Energon Shockwave.

 

I'd go with Energon Shockwave for a Classics display.

But Movie Shocky looks pretty awesome in his own right with the movie figures. He even has that hose all the other versions of him lack.

 

Movie Shockwave is cool, but I only have a few of the movie toys to "fit" him into. I have the original Ironhide, Bumblebee, ROTF Sideswipe, and....(gulp) Skids. Why I bought Skids I will never know... I do need a good Op...Sentinel is a must!

 

where do you want to put it? in classics? definitely energon.

if a third party made a g1 chest or torso cover for dotm shockwave i'd fit him in my chug line.

 

I really like my new DOTM soundwave, but Energon just has such cool shiny metallic accents, and a better head IMO.

 

i like energon shockwave better....but he fucking breaks to damned easily...that an that worthless brother of his six shot.

so DOTM shockwave it will be...ordered off amazon as soon as i get paid this week.

 

I guess I'm the only one so far that intends to use him in my main collection.

...But then again it's already a mash-up of Universe, Generations, Alternity and a couple of the less "movie-looking" Movie figures anyway.

Energon, although Shocky could definitely use a great new Classics-style mold.

 

I think if he wouldn't be a main character in DOTM, and he were just released in HFTD or RTS, a lot more people would probably be doing that. But, it's already in our heads that he's irrefutably Movieverse, so that's where he'll be in practically everyone's collections.

 

If you're looking for one as aClassics place-filler Energon Shockwave is the better call. But overall Movie Shockwave is the better toy IMO. I still like it well enough but Energon Shockwave's arms kill it for me.

 

I have 99% classics, and had no problem putting DOTM Shockwave up there with them, next to United Megatron. It doesn't look too bad, really.

 

It depends on WHERE you're gonna fit him into. If its CHUG, then you pretty much said it yourself.  

 

I got DOTM shocky tonite and I love him. He will not fit in with CHUG but he is damn nice for a movie toy.

 

Movieverse looks out of place next too pretty much anything so I would say energon shockwave.

i give up, that is like saying a turkey fits in at a car show, it makes no sense.....

peoples views of the vastly different astetics have been completely blurred
