I have an Energon Optimus Prime w/ the mouth which i find very annoying. Is there anything I can do to give it a "faceplate"?

got a TF sticker sheet that's mostly silver, except for where the stickers are? just cut a piece to the proper size and slap it on.

    no.

just make it the same size and shape as the full face plate. it'll be shinier, bit shiny is good.

I wonder if the Mouth version will have any value for collectors in the future. It seems to be the rarer of the 2 and everyone shunned it when it first appeared on the market.

Or you could do a little sculpting with epoxy putty or similar. Lick of paint, and job's a good'un. It wouldn't be a complicated sculptjob.

I sold my mouth one for a little more than the faceplate one was going for a few months ago... But that may have just been an isolated case.

IIRC The mouth version was only out in the first wave or two and then subsequently replaced by the faceplate version but its NOT documented on the box at all so you couldnt actually tell which version you were getting.

there was a number imprinted on the box for the mouth version if I recall correctly. I still have one with the mouth MIP but it is in storage atm. Since it was a "limited" release and not too popular, I am hoping it will eventually go way up in value.
