    I was just noticing how boring and plain E. Grimlock's whole torso section was (all that yellow), and I decided to change it up a little with some red and black.

    getting better!

    I'd love to see someone paint all the yellow, gold. Less hulk-a-mania, more G1.

    That's really nice. Could the same effect be had with a marker instead of paint?

    Much nicer. Takes your attention away from the fact that his crotch is tiny.

    Nice improvements. It's always amazing to me what difference just one or two paint apps can make. I once took a picture of E. Grimlock and just played with contrast in Photoshop, and had they used more metallic paint instead of that flat, cheap looking crap and maybe did some light washing on the silver/gray bits, he could have looked a lot better. Oh well.

    If I ever get one I'll probably make those same changes that you did.
