I was wondering. Can you think of enemies more terrifying and powerful than Unicron(or at least as powerful and terrifying) that can be gleaned from the various TF continuities and can be incorporated into Transformers Prime?

I'm thinking the Undermind from IDW would be an interesting addition, provided its altered to fit with TF Prime. I don't think the idea of a TF multiverse will be applicable to TF Prime.

Maybe Unicron & Primus have even more powerful relatives sleeping somewhere in the cosmos. Some of which can be wicked and horrible Lovecraftian monstrosities. Maybe you can add some inspirations from other frightening sources as well.

Hell with a tiny evil planet. Why not have an evil galaxy-sized thing? Or something that transcends time and space?

I've ALWAYS wanted to see stuff like Violen Jigger in a cartoon, I hope the writers do a little TFWIKI research for those things.

But you know, I seriously doubt if Unicron gets defeat that will be the last we will see of him. His blood is still out there and Megatron could hear his thoughts long ago with a simple shard in his chest. His influence will last longer than we think.

Yeah, I think Violen Jiger would be a great addition. I think he'd be a terrifying enemy for the Transformers.

I was also thinking. Why not incorporate Lovecraftian ideas such as the outer gods or the great old ones into Prime.

I think they'd work well as suitable antagonists.

A proper Lovecraftian entity would be impossible to comprehend, let alone fight.

Unicron is something of a watered down version of a Great Old One. He's far more powerful than any Cybertronian, has a physical shape yet is beyond it, imprisoned until the stars are right. Though obviously he doesn't cause insanity, and can still hold a proper conversation.
Earthbound's Giygas is also fairly Lovecraftian and he keeps the maddening, disturbing incomprehensibility, tough even he still retains some of his humanity (or alien equivalent).

Unicron is basically the apex baddie in TF lore, so I don't think you'd get much bigger. However, you can get scarier!

I'd love to see a Cybertronian version of 'The Thing' (not the Thing of Fantastic Four fame). It would likely involve character deaths though (or at least one), so it probably wouldn't happen.

That would be pretty freaky! Maybe one that threatens both Cybertronian and human alike. Get pretty weird towards the end...

Doh... what can be more powerfull than a planet eater that exists since the beginning of time?? It's not warhammer 40k we are talking about!! :D

Ok Skid's and Mudflap's obnoxiousness, but that's another story ^^

    You mean this right?

Giygas - EarthBound Wiki - This wiki stinks!

    Cool idea. :D

Maybe a whole bunch of things that existed since 'before' the beginning of time. Maybe something sealed away by the creator of both Primus and Unicron? Things that were there before the current universe. :D  As for Warhammer, hey it sounds like a good source of inspiration.

I doubt that anyone more powerful than Unicron will show up, based on the simple fact that Unicron is basically Super Satan. However, I'm willing to bet that Unicron will be "defeated" before he reaches his full power, and there are plenty of powerful threats that could show up and still cause problems (examples off the top of my head are Straxus, Thunderwing, Bludgeon, Shockwave, Jhiaxus, The Fallen, and the Liege Maximo).
