Where is the cheapest place to order? Some place called Kid Nemo had OPS for 45.00, but don't know how dependable. My preorder with BBTS stands at like 55.00 plus 8 bucks shipping...

Fantofan.jp was the cheapest by far, but the pre-order is sold out. Everyone else has them listed for about the same.

I have a feeling eBay will be the cheapest route. Like with most Takara TF's. I got my Music Player Soundwave off eBay for about $88 shipped.

Bah. You guys think that a pre-order is pretty much a necessity with this series?

Maybe, maybe not. But a time like this when there is a big lull in available TF's on the market it's good to place pre-orders. Spend the money on pre-orders for stuff you really want and you can cut back the impulse buys you regret later

For an item that's only being released in Japan and won't have great distribution in the US and won't be imported in super high numbers, yes.

With as many OP's, starscreams, and readily available soundwaves, I don't think those will be the biggest demand. Megatron on the other hand, only 1 re-issue that I'm aware of since the original.

True enough, Megs has only had one wide re-release (Dreamwave art box with two runs). But there was also the 16-S convention exclusive, the ehobby Black Chrome 16-S and the ehobby Megaplex (blue legs).
