I'll probably make my final decision on whether to get Sky Lynx or not when I see one at Botcon.

Got mine today as well. I've opened him, but haven't put the stickers on yet. SWEET reissue, I got him for $82 shipped from HK. I had to wait a couple weeks for him, but he's worth it.

I got mine today, the long stickers were a bit of a pain to set just right, but I got it and they should be on there but good.

I never had Sky Lynx when I was younger and never seen him in person, I had no clue he was so big! As someone who loves TFs and the Space Shuttle, I'm in heaven right now.

I'm sorta tempted to get another one to paint him in proper Space Shuttle colour scheme, but that's probably a bit much.

No one transforms Skylynx correctly... :(

(rotate the center neck piece so that the little guns point forward...)

I finally received my reissue Sky Lynx on Monday. I have a question as I'm not familiar at all with the figure. I'm assuming forcing his legs to move is really bad for the gears inside the Lynx portion. There are four small red buttons on the figure, one near each leg. Am I supposed to push those in to release the gears so that I can move his legs up or down for transformation? If so, do I push one for each leg, or do I need to push two of them at the same time? Lastly, it's nearly impossible to push the buttons next to the rear legs when transforming him to robot mode, so....???

Yes, the little red buttons release the gearing so you can stow or deploy the legs to transform him. And yeah, the rear ones can be hard to press in sometimes.

Thanks for the info and thanks for the figure -- I purchased it from your store. The minibots and Omega are on order as well! Follow-up question as I'd really like to avoid stripping the gears: do you push the buttons and hold until they are deployed/stowed, or do I simply need to push the button, start moving the legs, and then release the button? It seems like it snaps into place when the legs are fully deployed or stowed.

Press the button, then release it after the leg is unlocked and you've moved it a bit. The leg will move freely and click into place.

You don't need to press the button to transform into beast mode. Just pull the leg down until you hear the click and the button pops out.
