Does anyone know whether the Encore Ratchet will have the cross or not???

 

The picture of the preorder on TFsource doesnt have it on there but I may be wrong.

 

It would be interesting to know.

I wonder who else they are planning for the encore line...

After the 2 Encores and the next 2 KOs, I will have all of 1984-1985, not counting minibots and cassettes...

 

encore seems to be doing movie figures first (substituting soundwave for blackout and frenzy), so I'd assume Jazz would be next.

I will venture and say no because that logo is trademarked by both the Red-Cross and J&J (Band-Aid). Both companies actively litigate wrongfull use as well.

You can google to find cases.

 

The Reprolabel G1 Ratchet set has all the crosses for the top and the sides(on the backside of his hands).
I bought a set a few months back for my old G1 Ratchet.

It looks like the Encore Ratchet may not include these from the pics I have seen and the legal issues others have mentioned.

 

Is this official? Or just a speculation?
I must have been sleeping when this was announced.
