Looks like the heads for Encore Ironhide and Ratchet have to be removed from the inner flaps of the packaging if you want to use them.

Actual street date is December 20th. Sadly, for those of us that don't receive shipments directly from Takara-Tomy, we have to wait. :(

well you dont have to use the paper heads... and for those of us who identify more with the cartoon than the original toys, it may be preferable to no heads.

These molds were cheesy to begin with but back in the day it didn't matter. It was all about just having them in your collection. They did the best they could and, truth be told, as long as they are standing on their gun platforms they don't look all that bad.

No way I'll be putting a cardboard head on them. Gotta keep 'em vintage looking.

They are cheesy. They did it to try and appeal to the folks complaining that the ratchet and ironhide toys never had proper heads.

Just bought the pair off of an ebay seller. 49.00 for both isn't too shabby.

The sight of those G1 japanese boxes just brings a tear to my eyes. Reminds me of childhood. And for $20 each, that's a great price. I hope my HK connection comes thru on it.
