This is both good and bad. Bad as in I never got the first set, but also good since I always wanted to get the rest of the '86 bots. I have pipes, (and a swerve somewhere), but his chrome is in pretty bad shape. And weren't the blacken out images before clearly of those from the first set? I will still get this, but I am hoping they reissue the first batch at some point.
Yeah. The blacked-out images that first showed up definitely had Warpath and Cosmos. Gears was the only one of the original 6 reissued that was missing in the pic.
That just made me preorder. The new heads on Ironhide/Ratchet wasn't enough to make me get them but they got me with the new minibots.
This is great news! I have most of the bots from the first reissue in decent shape, which is why I passed on it originally. If this is truly the lineup the only one I have is Bumblebee, and he is the key chain version with the original head. This is a great price for 4 figures I don't have and a fifth with a new-to-me head sculpt!
huh... I guess it is ok. I was expecting the original mini-bots: Powerglide, Huffer, etc. But it doesn't matter, I am getting this set anyways.
Oh, dammit, I was looking forward to getting Cosmos, Warpath and Powerglide. I hope this Red Mercury site is wrong. And if there right then Takara really sucks for using blacked out pictures of Cosmos, Warpath and Powerglide in the early marketing material.
Well this is both good news and bad. Good because they're new reissues, but bad because the previous Minibot reissue is going for $100+ on the secondary market and I don't have them.

You read my mind. It would be interesting to see what ehobby would color them like, and who'd they be. Of course, they've already done Bugbite. So that makes it more difficult on the VW.
I was expecting the same lineup as TFC. I guess this makes more sense, but I wanted Cosmos I don't think I'll preorder this set now.
I, too, wish it was the same as the TFC set. Bumblebee is the only one worth getting in that set, IMO. I have it preordered, but this is now a toss-up for me. I may get it, may not..
They could do BB in Gold and call him Goldbug. Hell, they could even mold a new face to look like Goldbug's. As far as the rest of the set, I'm all for them. After Powerglide, Pipes and Tailgate are my favorite Mini-bots.
