are you talking about energon superion with the fansproject kit? if so get that as I'd say its better value.

    pro's of the superion set.

your making good individual figures better given that the only weakness was the rather wtf combiner arms and feet.
will match the bruticus stuff if you go for them aswell
the core figures are cheap and easy to find

    con's

    its getting rare.
the center robot in torso mode has a rather poor method of fixing its chest plate into place so it can come loose

    As for the CD stuff

    pro's

if you lost parts for the original its a good alternative

    con's

    it aint cheap
and personally I think the new parts on very old toys looks a bit out of place

WHat are you looking to collect?

    Classicverse or G1.

I don't think G1 Devi with CD parts belongs anywhere near a Classics shelf so if you are going for Classics it is the FP option.

If you are a G1er and want a slightly updated Devi that is still fully G1 then CD is the way to go.

I just recently got the Superion kit. It's a killer set and it is sort of hard to track down, so if you have the opportunity I'd go for that.

You'll be overpaying for superion right now. Go with Devy unless you find a good deal for Superion.

are we talking the movie gift set, Superlink gift set or single energon figures?

$150 for the figs plus the FP set is maybe a bit much (130-140 I'd say would be closer for me) but then it depends of what figures your getting. if its the superlink toys I'd jump on it

I gotta say Superion solely because I dislike CrazyDevy.

OK so you want both for whatever reason.

    Get the Superion.

The CD set isn;t going anywhere and with the new Devi release I'm sure they will pop more out and at a cheaper price. Why the cheaper price? Because if you don't go CD there is that other company putting out a similar set.

For that reason (the new company's CD styled release) there is no rush on the Devi upgrade but with Superion that set is part of the past and pricing and availabilty are constantly subject to change.

LOL well then, I dunno. If you prefered one over the other it would be a simple answer.

If its the case that you're gonna get both at some point then go for superion first and the addon kit because they're getting rare.

I'd say both are too expensive if you consider the quality.
The Superion kit is good, but not nearly as good as the bruticus kit IMO.
and the crazydevy parts are ridiculously overpriced.
but hey, I'm gladly paying "$600" for a combiner, so... :thumbs2:

This and if you can get it for $150 then I'd do it because that isn't a bad price for the whole shebang.

    Ebay:
superion kit without a doubt, it's a great set, and 150 is a good deal for it with superion, i got my superion at retail for over 50, and the superion kit was 45 when released, so that's not a huge increase imo

He'd be overpaying for CrazyDevy's stuff anytime.
