    if its well made id be tempted to get 2, one to keep combined and a set to switch between the little robos and vehicles.

    You actually need 4 complete sets to have every mode on display (look at my collection pics). The combiner parts fit on the vehicles to give a battle mode.

    Yeah, I did the same thing, but I don't feel bad about it. It's nice to have the original, even if I probably wouldn't have gotten it if I knew there was a reissue coming.

    It's one of only a very few original TFs I have - Dev, Thrust, and the Omnibots. The rest are reissues.

    I would have more originals, but I'm VERY picky about condition! :)

    There's never been an all-plastic version of Devastator. So I can't think of any reason they'd change it.

    I'm a sucker for boxsets like this, so I guess I have to get it. Plus I guess it would be nice to have the original G1 Constructicons again after all these years.

    There is. These were released under this "RacingCarRobots" label, way before the unofficial Boxed release that now has these in Green, Yellow & Orange. :) 

    Totally made in plastics, even for the joints...

    if this is a brand new mould hopefully we wont have any of the shoddyness that was seen in the oft used bruticus mould.

    I can guarantee you it'll have the same amount of die-cast (ie: hardly any) as G1 and G2 Devastator.

    at first I thought to myself, I needed it but thinking around makes me even consider selling of all my reissues, I have minty boxed originals, why do I need a reissue?

    Im still debatting with myself though.

    If that is the case, you may save your money for other TF which you are more interested. The box sure look more sturdier.
