Those Cassettes are balls out ridiculous on the obscure spectrum. If I was more into G1 molds I'd be all over these.
I have the original reissues of these guys and multiples of the tapes ranging from Vintage to reissues. Do I need these? Nope. Reissues are over for me. Anything G1 I wanted I either have a Vintage toy or or a reissue of already. Call me when they reissue something NEW. Where is Artfire? I would take that.
Don't have either of these figures, and always wanted Soundblaster. Was on this when they were first rumored a while back, and the newly colored tapes seal the deal for me.
A question for people who are passing on these: Would you buy them if instead of these cassettes they came with Reissues of the W-Cassettebots? More to the point who would buy a reissue 4 pack of the W-Cassettes for whatever money Takara decided to charge?
I'll buy these again just for the new tapes. I have missed the encore line so much.....I have to support it now that its back.
Now we just need a navy and yellow Frenzy, a green Ravage and another colored Eject, for Playback, Blackcat and Bolts!
$70 a pop? No thanks. As cool as the cassettes are I can't justify spending that kind of money since I already own the TFC Soundblaster and eHobby Twin Cast.
Boom, Soundblaster pre-ordered. I've always wanted one, but previous versions have been too expensive. At last, a (near) holy grail will be mine!
Glad these are coming out, if for no other reason than because it shows there's still life in the Encore line. As neat as the cassette redecos are, though, I can't justify the $70 for either of these when I already have the previous Soundblaster reissue and I'm not interested in Twincast.
Im all over it. I love the G1 cassettes. Cant wait to get these. I already have the original reissue's of Soundblaster and Twincast. Ill just sell them when I get the new one's.
