Quick question regarding the G1 Takara Bruticus reissue from a couple years ago: Do the stickers come pre-applied like they did on the most recent G1 re-release of Piranacon?
I've read about the mold degradation issues for this particular version but I'm just hoping the labels come unapplied as some of the pre-applied stickers looked pretty awful on Piranacon.
    Thanks.

Stickers are on a seperate sheet in a plastic bag with the instructions.

    Thanks and good to know.
Why the hell they couldn't have done that with Piranacon I'll never know.

    Difference between Hasbro and TakaraTomy.

Hasbro probably figures kids don't want to apply stickers and have them applied already. It's the same with their Insecticon reissues, Perceptor reissue, and I believe the Soundwave reissue too.

    He sure did.

I hate putting stickers on, but even I do a better job than Hasbro has been doing. You're probably better off doing it yourself.

Takara's TF Collection Perceptor came with all the sickers applied if I recall correctly as well as the Blaster. The first Hasbro Soundwave (The TRU Classics one) they came unapplied.

I wish they'd just tampo stamp them and forget the stickers... I hate stickers. They're a pain to put on and they can wear and fall off.

I don't think Tampographs can get quite as intricate as the printed stickers.

Plus, many of the surfaces that were stickered in the past aren't conducive to tamp printing in the first place, especially when the stickers need to fold or bend.

How is Encore Bruticus in general? I thought about picking him up in my local store. He's about $80. I saw a Youtube comparison vid and the user said it was a pretty good re-mold, though I've been hearing bad things from other people online. The mold issue looked very minor if anything.

Encore Bruticus has tons of problems. Mould degradation, the fact they used the RID modified moulds in the first place (e.g. Onslaught's gun is a different size than the original), more cartoon-accurate paint scheme (that may not be a problem for some, but it is for me...).

For $80? Guaranteed you can pick up a complete original (unboxed, but in great condition) on ebay for less. Bruticus is one of the more common combiners.

Actually, the original G1 Blaster and Perceptor came with all their stickers pre-applied, so it makes sense that the reissues did as well.

My Encore Bruticus had no problems with mold degrdation that I could see. I have thoroughly enjoyed having him in my G1 collection.

Then you're not aware of what the mold originally looked like.

Every Encore Bruticus has mold degredation problems, because the mold used to make them has degraded.

By arctic camo Ruination has a ton of problems, but that doesn't stop me from loving him anyways.
