I just stumbled upon this when I went to TRU this morning.

TRU is going to put these out for tomorrow @ 9:30a.m. when the store opens.

I'm starting to feel that tomorrow will bring about the end of the world.

Just mass frenzies for these toys. I don't expect to walk into the toy aisle containing the Transformers section and find the aisle to be completely empty of other people. I'm expecting atleast 5, maybe 10, others. I went through something similar to this when Star Wars: The Clone Wars toys hit shelves. I went to a midnight opening at a TRU and there was already a line out the door. One I finally got in, people were grabbing toys left and right, where as I only wanted one $20 LEGO set. I've ordered about 6 of the DOTM toys online to save time and effort. My main concern are Shockwave and Sentinel Prime.

And lets face it, those 2 are going to be the most difficult to find because they are the most anticipated characters.

All I'm saying is don't expect to get everything you want at the first store you visit. Collecting these toys will definately take some time to complete.

Toys R Us is pretty good when it comes to putting stuff out on the exact street date well at least some of them are. Mine was pretty good when they put out the toys for ROTF. Its nice when you can walk in a store and BAM! there they are. I plan on hitting my Toys R Us first.

I'm still expecting there to be plenty of everything. Stores tend to over order on movie toys.

Ehh, I don't know. Nobody around my area seems to collect any toys, so I'm expecting
to just stroll into Walmart and get everything I can afford. Of course, I could be horribly wrong, in which case I'll be very disappointed...

Well, I don't think thats the case for me. I live in a highly urbanized area so there are plenty of people around. My best pickings appear when I'm at my grandparents in Wisconsin, they live 30 minutes from the nearest town, which is rather small yet still has a Wal-Mart.

I seriously think you're overhyping a little bit. Toy sales will pick up the most after the movie hits. Tomorrow every store in your area is going to stock up with these. I would be surprised if you can't find everything you're looking for.

    *sigh*

Yet again, the cycle continues. It doesn't matter if you can't find the toys immediately on launch.

    1- You have the internet.
2- Like Wolfe said, stores will overstock on the initial waves of the movie toys anyway. Remember those mountains of Rampage/Sideways/Sideswipe? Besides, the most hype and demand is when the movie actually starts hitting.
3- The toys are going to be out at 9:30 AM at your TRU, right? I'm pretty sure that kids won't be skipping school to buy a bunch of toys, nor will parents jump out of work to get them for their kids. All you need to worry about are scalpers and other collectors, and even then, it's a first-come-first-serve basis regardless.

Just relax and have patience. It'll work out.

The only one I want is leader Ironhide, and that one isn't even in the first wave so I'm not stressing over anything. :D

Nope, every release is always difficult to obtain ever. There are no Transformers on shelves anymore because they're always sold out. No one was ever at all ever able to get Cybertronian Soundwave or Blurr because of that.

I definitely think the DOTM toy release is getting hyped up. Don't get me wrong I am excited for it, but I'm certainly not going to be at Wal-Mart come midnight. I burnt myself out buying all the ROTF figures ASAP and they were around forever; I'm not doing the same for this go around.

Tomorrow I plan on going out to see if I can find DOTM Shockwave and Barricade. Hopefully I strike gold...

I'm not worried about the movie toys anymore. What happens when you run out of room to put these things ? I have no more room for movie figures but I am only going to buy my favorites.Trying to collect the entire movie line is impossible.
NOTE: On pic #3 That whole side is ROTF lefovers.
