    Transformers Roll Out
Empire Mag online has some images up of the toys. I believe we've see comparable images of Optimus, but I dont think we've seen the Helmet and Blaster as clear as this.

Agreed, I think those are probably the best pics we have seen of the helmet and arm blaster at this point. Nice find.

I want ehe helmet that has the face and not the visor and face mask. That would be so cool. I could look like a scary old man wth no skin.

Am I the only person who doesn't like that Prime toy? I don't have anything against his move design, don't get me wrong. However, this toy just looks really...messy. I personally think he looks fatter than E-Prime did.

Why did they bother with the G1 trailer if they were trying so hard to distance themselves from it?

then why not use a new movie design too? its stuff like this that makes the movie "not g1" ethic stupid.

    anyway

think kids will love it but you gotta laugh at how the barrel has an orange tip

imagine life with out it and the dangers

police radio: all officers we have robot arm kid with a space blaster heading towards the mall

police: damn thats the 5th one today - get the SWAT team ready again before he kills somebody.

He is a bit on the chunky side due to the electronics, but not as bad as Energon Fatimus. I'll probably pick up the Voyager sized Prime. He doesn't seem to be as "big boned" as the Leader class one.

Its not....just because he has his trailer for a toy doesnt mean they are sticking to G1, and if police are dull enough to think a blue handed kid with a plastic barrel and wheels on it are threataning then my username isnt OmegaVPrime

Is it just me or does the leader class Prime figure only have one hand?

If thats the case that is 2 strikes against it. One hand, and too bulky looking. I wouldn't consider buying a movie figure unless ity had movie detail.

If hasbro really wanted this figure to be popular they should have never made a voyager version that looks way better. THe only thing that the leader class Prime has going for itself is height. Hopefully vayager is tall enough to standout from the other autobots.

    But thats just my opinion.

Simply put: lawsuits. Just in case some 'upstanding citizen' decides to sue Hasbro.

And maybe recall scare. The orange cap was something the industry decided to pick up after realistic toy guns were deemed illegal. There was even a case of a sc-fi toy gun (blaster) used in a domestic distrubance, the police came and thought it was a real gun and shot the drugged up guy. Hence a bright orange cap makes it obvious that it's a toy from even far away.

EDIT: the new generation missed out on those badass realistic toy guns. Back then, ya can get them anywhere, the most realistic ones can be found only at the fleamarkets, thou. Those actually were made of metal and used caps with a lil bit of powder to make the bang. I had a 6-shooter that had red caps for bullets... it was awesome going through those caps like a gunfighter. Cost alot but was worth it.

And it's mindboggling how people can criticise these new toys.

That helmet is really growing on me. I think I may have to get it just so I can wear it with my Prime shirt to the premiere (like probably about 1000 other TransFans).
