Wasn't that the same seller who bought that "million dollar" auction?(With a mortgage on his house) 99% of the stuff he's selling are way overpriced and I'm surprised that people still buy from him.

    Yup.

I wonder how much of that he recouped?

Are these Transformers the MISB ones from the Million Dollar Listing?

I followed his sales for a while afterwards, hoping to pick up some sweet series one MISBs separately, but to no avail.

earlier on, when he first started selling, he was letting go of some really choice stuff for great prices. He let go of a MIB C9+ seacon giftset(this is the one that stands out the most for me) for 1700, and it was beautiful.

This lot he is selling is worth nowhere near 40k, maybe 10-12k at the most. shitty afa grades really dont sell all that well anymore.

I'd rather buy a car for that cash or take a trip around the world than use it on plastic.

I think you could build a whole sealed afa 80 collection off ebay right now.Ravis collectibles was selling these separately for ridiculous amounts.

It would be a much cooler auction if there were no reserve.

Especially considering how the reserve is likely $39,499.99
This guy's got a better chance selling these individually anyway.

There were no MISB figures from the Million Dollar auction(They were all opened, means no MOSC either, AFA won't grade those) That's why she only sold it for $50000.

However those are some of the nicest boxs/figures I've ever seen.

MG, I checked the old thread and seems like u r correct, some of the stuff were MISBed, but from the discussion it seems most of the stuff were opened, you sure half of those were MISBed?(I sort of remembered that most of the boxed stuff was opened, and she was saying her husband opens the toy they bought to make sure everything was there and intact)

Those were some of the best boxes I've seen and quite a few of them can reach AFA90 mark if Unopened.

I'd have to agree with MG, more than alot were misb, but there were also alot of nice mib's too. He sold alot of the nice stuff early on fast, where if he waited, he couldve gotten alot more.

    alot.

Good lord, the prices on that set is hilariously (though reasonably) high. You could buy a computer-controlling headband with that sort of money.

No, really, you can. Wow. o_o
