This is in fact my first repaint: Cybertron Thunderblast repainted into Elita One. To be honest, I'm rather surprised that I've virtually never seen anybody else do this repaint considering that it was essentially used for Botcon 2007's Games of Deception. During the year and a half since then, I've only seen this repaint once on Ebay and never on a kitbash site. Whichever way I did the repaint myself. Kinda pleased with how she turned out. Just wondering what everyone else thinks of her (maybe I'll learn why nobody's actually done it already )
Looks very nice, but it doesn't quite seem like Elita. I think it might have something to do with the head *shrugs* Either way, you show a bit of potential as far as painting goes- keep up the good work.
Yeah, probably the head. I did consider filing down the Thunderclash "horns" a little and adding more Elita like horns to her helmet. That said I like the way she turned out so I'll probably leave her the way she is for the time being. Thanks for looking guys.
I love it! I think Elita's helmet is a bit more.. uh... horny, but everything looks great. As for me, I've been wanting to do this myself, but I've been waiting on the club to do it for us themselves. I can't for the life of me figured out why they haven't yet... I guess if another disappointing year goes by, I'll probably pick one up off of Ebay to do myself.
I like this man! I'm also surprised that we didn't see more customs from molds like this. I think many people got into trends of making customs that others made (e.g., Alt Trailbreaker). I'm not saying that's bad, but merely stating fact. The cool thing is that you made one and you posted it here. For that, you get the 'quad Keep up the good work
