eHobby posted on their Twitter account earlier today (and it was later retweeted by TFCC) a photo of a Quintesson. Given the smiling faces and rainbow colors, it appears to be a Shattered Glass Quint. Could this be a hint for something coming up in the future?

There was text accompanying the post, so if anybody could care to translate, it would be greatly appreciated: https://twitter.com/#!/ehobby_shop

    Here's the pic:

Good, more Shattered Glass shit. That way I can save my money from buying expensive exclusives.

While I dislike shattered glass, this concept has always given me a chuckle.

There's plenty of room in my meager SG display for new figures... but probably not this one. Based on the art, it looks like this would have a better home in a MLP universe.

What the heck? That Quint has explosive rainbow diarrhea!

Ok seriously though, not too excited about this but I would pick one up if it looks interesting...

The text on the link is basically "here is a heroic Quintesson from the SG universe. Isn't Shattered Glass interesting?"

It is probably a part of the promotion for the 2012 box set through E-Hobby rather than a serious hint of anything that is actually in the works IMO.

I personally hope this is aiming towards a E-hobby line of SG toys but this could just be giving props to the tfcc

Yes, that's the pre-existing character of Aquarius, who showed up in fiction a few years ago. I'm not an SG fan, but he's easily one of the funnest things the idea has produced.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I loved most of the SG con exclusives and fiction... still glad to get more... but agreed, this is the weirdest character from the fiction. Probably at the bottom of my want list from SG.
