I feel damn confused, while they complained it was not fair by labeling them as "G1ners", now they themselves name-calling those who think the designs (espacially megatron) are good. I am confused, really confused.....

So this article is implying that any public praise of the movie is potentially bought off by Paramount?

I find that tough to believe, even though my "inner geewunner" would really enjoy believing it.

 

To a certain extent it's probably right. There are plenty of films that have had studio plants on message boards. Studio heads have admitted it. Why would this film be any different with that?

But it must be said, there are people in this fandom who genuinely, and somewhat inexplicably, just favour change for changes sake, and if a change is to something stupid or ugly then it's "awezome" just because it's different.

i gotta say personaly every time i heard a bunch of people say that megatron the new megatron looked scary and how they'd go on about that, my knee jerk reaction was to think forum plant thou it's not likly.

 

Most of the people I've seen say they like the movie designs have been here for a very long time. Not much need for plants here when the regular members do just fine without being paid for their opinions.

Hey Paramount! I don't particularly care for the movie robot designs, and -oopsie- just said so in a public forum. I'm waiting for my threat or my bribe. Naturally, I'd prefer the latter.  

If I start changing my public opinion later, it's probably just a coincidence or something. Move along, nothing to see here.

 

i dont remember anything like a "turn around".

there have always been some who like whats going on, and some who dont.
and even some like me who like certain things about it, and dislike other things. overall, im still enthusiastic about the movie. sure, megatron looks like the guyver dipped in chrome, but i still want to see the movie.

i dunno wtf that guy was talking about.

*btw, remember when star wars prequel leaks got shut down almost daily? this isnt the first time a studio yanked content from a site.
