    Finally! Some progress to show you guys. This is My Ecto-1 commission for Demons. I'm using 07 Movie Leader Prime's parts for the transformation on the legs. I figure he'll end up being a little taller than MP Starscream which is much bigger than most Alternators. Okay, back to work. I still have a ton of projects to wrap up.

    i feel very exciting...an Ecto-one transforms is really a outstanding ideas...the usage of Prime base is brilliant..really clean job..finish him off..

    Oh Yeah! :D  Is that Cadillac Miller-Meteor kit made out of plastic or diecast? Or did you start with the 80's toy & go from there? Man, I can't wait to see this take shape. :)

    I can answer that actually,it's the plastic Polar Lights Ecto-1 model from a few years back.

    Also,you are awesome for know what the Ecto-1 really is,very awesome indeed.

    That's a really clever idea for the leg transformation - water you gonna do with the rest of the body, will this figure have wings to echo the cars?

    It's from the polar lights model kit, so it's plastic.

    The inspiration for my wanting this was seeing the picture of ecto-1 as a transformer by King Starscream. And spoonman.. Well looks like he's delivering.. quite nicely infact! :)

    Amazing, are you planning on molding the robot into one of the Ghostbusters? I think having a head like Dan Ackroyd would finish the transformer nicely. Dan Ackroyd and Ray Stanz both know the car inside and out, it seems fitting.

    I personally wouldn't want that to be honest..
    While in some sense it is a "cross over" the idea drawn up by king star scream (with the ecto-1 name tag) is what I really am hoping to see.
    I like the idea of ecto-1 being it's own thing (not modeled after one of the specific busters, besides Egon was always my favorite anyway! And Dan Ackroyd played Ray Stanz..).

    I've also told Spoonman i've got a set of Ghostbuster minimates that would look nice posed with their Ecto-1 transformer ready to bust some toy ghosts.. :)
