What is the consensus on this ebayer. Are they reliable, anyone one ever dealt with them before?

Shill-bids on nearly all her(?) auctions. I'd say avoid.

They are reliable, but they are also known for shill bidding.

I prefer Heerotoysmaker/etoyshunter. Selection is a bit more limited, but his prices are better and he's proven to be reliable numerous times, plus some.

What is a shill-bid. Sorry never heard this term before. I did buy a Treadbolt for $30 not including shipping.

EDIT: Just saw that Heero is selling the dang thing for a buck plus $30 shipping. Why didn't I see this earlier.

Its where the seller uses either an alt-id or has a friend bid on their item in order to drive up the price.

menasor1979 is a really flagrant shillbidder, to the point where if the auction doesn't clear the shillbid, it gets re-listed almost immediately. Sometimes with Second Chance BINs sent to the highest bidder or two, for prices similar to the winning shill bid.

Well that is shitty as hell. So should I be worried about the BIN that I won? He had a treadbolt listed for $50 the other day and I submitted a BIN for $30 and he accepted it. Needless to say if he does that this will be the only transaction I have with him.

If you use a BIN instead of a straight-up auction I don't think you'll have any real problems.

Everything I have recieved from him has been taken apart, voyager megatron had all limbs removed starscream had the legs removed missing parts that he had to resend. Sure his prices are cheap but its a headache dealing with him.

Same here, I have had problems too! That sucks. All these overseas folks wotk at the factory and either steal the product or take the rejects and sell them to us. SAD, I can not find a reliable seller from over there thats fair :(

Well I got the two figures from him. They have to be QA rejects. Fracture has horrible paint apps, Treadbolt has very loose antennae and his legs are very loose. (It's where his legs slide up and down) His Paint apps are also crappy but not as bad as fractures.

In other words stay away from this user.

when it was jenny it had things at decent BINs that was how i got my animated screamer...i won an overpriced jazz but i set my max bid too high like a dummy haha.

took 3 weeks to get screamer but i got my jazz within 2 weeks. they are reliable in my book..

I would avoid this person (menasor1979) at all costs. I had some issues, which caused an open case with Paypal, with them before they got a new e-bay ID. Also, they tend to be very slow with getting things shipped. But I will not go into too much detail about the issues.

I have reported them multiple time for shill bidding and excessive shipping.

I have bought 4 figs at one time before and got charged 30 shipping on all 4

120 just on shipping is nuts

I no longer buy from them anymore.:mad
