This Overlord sold two days ago on ebay:

Transformers OVERLORD MIB Euro Exclusive complete PM on eBay (end time 03-Mar-10 08:49:46 GMT)

The pics are stolen from TFW member BB Shockwave's sales thread here:

    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/items-sale-trade/236875-mib-99-complete-g1-overlord-trade.html

Ebay seller doesn't know, and didn't have permission from BB SW to use the pics. It may be the pics were used as reference pics, or may be a scam, don't suppose anyone here bought it, or knows the buyer do they?

I'll give him/her the benefit of a doubt. Tons of people stealing someone else's pics only to use it on their own auction(s) & most of those turned out legit at the end of the day.

Some people just can't handle a camera well enough. :lol

    Ebay:
I got a response from the seller (thanks to ninety for letting me know) - apparently he/she does have a MIB Overlord, but could not take pics.

That is, still, a breach of Ebay rules, and I have reported the seller to Ebay anyway, because:

-If someone buys a MIB Overlord for 300 Pounds (a huge amount of money, I sold that one pictured for 330$ back in 2007) they would expect it to be in tip-top shape, would want to inspect the toy in more detail, sticker status, fading, yellowing, breaks, etc... Not to mention the shape of the box - mine was actually quite bent and had tears in it, the seller doesn't mention anything about the status of the box in the description at all.

-There is no such thing as "I don't have a camera" these days. Those are so darn cheap that no-one can say that "I cannot afford one" excuse, especially if they are selling a toy for 300 pounds on Ebay.

For £300/$450 I'd expect pics before buying. Hopefully it is genuine, lesson here is that if you're spending that sort of money, ask for specific pics with something you've asked for included in one of them, local paper with date, certain household object etc.

Digital cams are so cheap these days, if you're selling a TF for £300, you can afford to spend £10 to get a camera to take pics of it.

Also, £300? Those Wreckers comics really have driven his price up, eh?

I prefer to use my own pic's. Makes the item being sold more realistic and genuine.

Heh, never expected Overlord to appear in the comics, and it seems this indeed boosted his price. Glad I saved my spare MIB one until today. It's still for sale, though I'd really prefer to trade it for a Fort Max.

Not a complete one, of course. But at least a good shape body with Cerebros and some weapons, something worth the 350$ kinda price I'd sell Overlord for.
