Fortress Maximus Box w/ nothing cut out, styrofoam insert and the styrofoam cover but does not include the small styrofoam pieces......

On ebay, when one has been available for sale in the past, can you give me examples of what you've seen a halfway decent one go for? I've yet to see one in the last month or so.

Just looking for a nice somewhat complete box for mine and wanted to know what price range I'm looking at ;)

    Thanks.

I haven't seen the boxes go alone as far as I know. Sorry that I can't help you.

    Ebay:
$100-$250 depending on the condition. Not bad considering a boxed Fort Max sells for $300-$400 more than an opened one.

Thanks. I figured somewhere in that neighborhood.
Has anyone here seen one on Ebay in the last year?

    Thanks Tom.:D

Yeah, I got a MIB fortress max I aquired by accident. Looking to get rid of it either together or apart. Meaning, willing to sell the box and foam separately. If interested, PM me.

I haven't received him yet. Once he's in, I'll talk pictures of the box, foam, FM and all the stuff he comes with. Willing to sell box and foam, then FM separately. Or as a whole if the offers right. Whatever people want. Just keep an eye on the sales thread. It might be as late as pass Thanksgiving since i"m going thru mid-terms right now. :banghead:

I was thinking earlier tonight....... instead of storing him in a box, make a glass enclosure/case to keep it in that's blocks uv rays, dust and crappy yellow incandescent light. It might cost me $250.00+ to make but I can have him out in clear view and not worry about degradation or yellowing plastic. I paid $650.00 for this so I can look at it and remember the good ole days of G1.

Ok guys, another question which I kinda' doubt anyone can answer.
Do you know anyone online or anywhere that makes a glass type enclosure like the one I speak of specifically for Fortress Maximus?

You'll need to get some standard glass, make the airtight (and thus dust free) case. Then, you'll want to find some kind of thin transparent material that acts as a high band pass filter for E.M. waves, only allowing light with a wavelength of more than 400 nm to pass through. And then you'll want another filter that blocks the yellow light (which has a wavelength in the range of 565 - 590 nm).

Where to get these things from? I don't know.
