There are some new ways for you to post ebay links, hopefully a bit easier.

If you are in the Full Editor mode on the boards, you will see 2 new buttons, they say "Ebay Item #".

If you click the first one, it will give you

    [ ebay ] [/ebay]

in your post. If you enter the item number to the auction in between them, the result will be:

Ebay - Item Number YOUR ITEM NUMBER

and it will be automatically linked to your auction.

If you click the second one, you will get a pop up. It will say "Please enter the option for your [ EBAYLINK ] tag". Enter your auction number in there. JUST the auction number, not the full URL. You will then get

    [ EBAYLINK=YOURAUCTIONNUMBER ] [ /EBAYLINK]

in your post. You can then enter whatever you want inbetween those, so you can title your link how you want. It will look like:

This is the link to my Devestator Auction

For those that dont use the full editor on the boards, and dont see those buttons when posting a new thread, you can still use these codes by typing them manually.

Examples on how to use them are located here:

There is a similar situation for Amazon as well, so feel free to use that in other spots on the forum.

If you can't find the auction item number, dont worry. Just post the full link like you have been and the board will create a link for you. This just gives you more control on how it looks, and stops that "stretching" situation.

    Later!
