that makes for some interesting kitbash and repaint fodder. these GRQ (get-rich-quick) auctions are kind of depressing. it's like they aren't even trying to make money, just get rid of stuff fast. if you want something gone you make it easy to get rid of.

This should be in the Ebay section of the boards...

To get back on topic, what a fawkin' scalper! What the hell do you need 36 Alt Primes for?

Up here (Canada) Wal-Mart is having a sale on Cybertron and Alt figures. Alts are going for $9.94 but are HTF at the moment.

    36 Alternator Optimus Primes=25kg(24004.108g)
Would have to ship them all in 2 boxes.
Depending on where he is mailing from in Canada, to deliver to me in Indiana costs $55-$81 total. Expedited parcel.
He has a nice $300 handling charge tagged on.
I can't believe I spent 10 minutes figuring this out.

the $399 shipping is meant to cheat on his ebay fee.

This guy probably has a couple of dozen 08camaro bumblebees stacked somewhere too......

Imagine that, 36 Alternator Primes! Those things didn't even trickle down where I come from!

I wonder what he was thinking at the very beginning when he bought them. I mean what did he originally plan to do with 36 ALT Primes. I guess he visited TRU alot and then whenever he came across one, he couldn't help but to pick up another one and keep the count climbing. I love that line he puts on his auction description: "makes a great addition to your collection!!"

Yeah sure buddy, who the heck would wanna add that many to their collection??

....................................maybe i should auction off my wall of 72 ricochets? hmmmmm

but then i wouldnt have the outside right wall of my misb alternators fort....... and my rollbar coffee table would be open to the elements.....not to mention my sunstreaker couch with deadend end tables.

best not to split them up.

There are sick freaks out there who attempt to buy entire toy runs.

Anyone remember that dreadwing (dreadwind?) eBay'er from a year or 2 ago? The only thing the guy would buy is that 1 G1 figure ... and trumpets.

I message him to ask him if that was the actual shipping cost or if he just was trying to avoid eBay fees. Then I reported him for excessive shipping.

EBay might not care much about KOs, but I bet they pay attention to things that affect their bottom line.
