I can't be the first one to think of this, can I? Requires nothing but a screwdriver, and transforms perfectly. The green even matches really well. I don't know about you, but I love this look and I can't believe it took me so long to think of it.

I'm sure it's been thought of, but I don't think many people are willing to caniblize Botcon exclusives. :1

If I had the option of a pristine Botcon Banzai and a caniballized Banzai in turn for a nice looking repaint, I would prefer the former. Looks nice though.

You silly guys, my botcon Banzaitron is still in perfect shape, the head just screws on and off. :)  If it really gives you the willies you could try it with an Energon Mirage-- that would let you match the greys a little better.

Huh. This looks so much better than I ever would have imagined. If I had BotCon Banzaitron, I'd have to try this. I may have to try hunting down a cheap Energon Mirage... Nice find!

He didn't actually cannibalize the figure, cool dudes. He didn't take paint to it, he didn't drill a hole through it, or sand down any uneven edges. It's a simple factory head swap that can be reversed at any time with a screw driver.

Kind of makes me want to customize a botcon figure sometime, just to see the heart attacks. Pre-Beast Megatron could use a black wash, right? ;)

That's actually pretty cool. Works surprisingly well on that body too. Would be neat if MAIDEN JAPAN also made a Banzaitron kit like he's working on for Bludgeon.

    Looks pretty wicked!

I do happen to like Banzaitron's regular head a lot, however. Its color scheme makes it look way better than Bludgeon's, even.

I did that quite some time ago with a spare 'Mirage' head for mine... It does look pretty damn nice, eh?

Actually it would be cool if some one cast the head.
so that people could buy just the head, to paint up for this conversion.

Well, to be fair, Headrobots is working on a great-looking kit for Banzaitron. There's probably not much point in working TOO hard on a new head, since they'll blow all of us out of the water in the near future. :)
