I just upgraded to an elite, (Sent my old one in for repairs) and I'm stuck with my data on my old 20GB HD. Is there another way to transfer the save data without using Microsoft Data Migration Kit?

    Ebay:
Either the 64 or 512MB memory cards.
Other than that the only way is to send off for the data migration kit for free.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. You have to either buy a 120 GB HD, which comes with the necessary cable and disk or send in for the free cable with the purchase of an Elite. It kind of sucks that they couldn't pack in the cable and stuff with the Elite, but I guess that's a cost cutting thing, since not everyone is upgrading.

Sad thing is that in this day and age you still have to FAX the order form in...

were you able to reuse the 20BG drive? Or does it wipe it clean and render it unsuable?
