Same here! And everyone called me crazy...we'll see who's laughing when they're piles of radioactive slime and I'm safe and sound hundreds of feet underground. I just hope I don't forget my can opener.

This & Europa are on top of the alien list. This stuff blows my mind, and it's aggervating at the same time knowing that very few answers will come from this lifetime.

Suprised it took so long to discover it.
It's neat they can discover other suns by their wobble, and how they found that massive black hole in the center of our milky way, or how dark matter is everywhere and why we wouldnt be here without it.

Now comes the competition to see who can figure out how to get a probe there.

    This....

If they can simulate some form of Nuclear warp drive it might be possible to send an unmanned drone.

I know. It's really unfortunate that it will take so long to send any probe there. And only after we send the probe, would we even consider sending any people there. Hopefully rockets become much much faster within the next decade and the travel time becomes shortened considerably.
I'm getting a little off topic here, but what if it's not a new planet, but rather another Earth from a parallel dimension. Just imagine if it was like a shattered glass version of out world as one of the posters before me said. That would be funny and scary at the same time.
