Turns out... Don't Call The Guatemala Sinkhole a Sinkhole : Discovery News ...it's not a sinkhole. It's far worse. TL;DR - Oh fuck.
...Oh man. Guatemala City could very well be falling apart soon if they don't drastically overhaul things (and, let's face it, this is Guatemala, there's not much chance of that happening).
Oh SHIT. That's really bad. Good thing I live in South Dakota. The last disaster that happened here was a flood in 1972.
Will it become a future quarry or something lol, how do you fix something like that? Parents probaby benefit from it "You better hussh or Im gonna throw you in that hole"
As scary as the sinkhole/chasm/pit-of-doom is, I have to admit it's also pretty awe-inspiring to see and know that it's the real deal. I want to go there and throw something down it just to say I did. Something small, like a Volvo or whatever.
Mark my words, this is the doing of the nefarious Mole People! Know what I find really funny? No mention whatsoever of any people having been in the building. Is this correct? - Coeloptera
Freaky how perfectly round the hole's shaped. I wonder if it was a pit for a previous culture or something.
