I always wanted to make Prime look like the full fire truck that he sometimes has in the cartoon. So, I just started this today and hopefully will get it finished soon. Remember, it's in a VERY early stage.

It attaches easily and doesn't require any mods to the original toy.

That looks like a great design. Once it's made in a finished quality it'll be superb.

Hot Damn, that look awsome! What is the truck-trailer mode made of? Kind of looks like cardboard. LOL!

    Actually, it is!
It's a thick card stock that I build with and then basically paint on a layer of super glue.
The glue soaks into the cardboard making it a kind of fibery plastic, cheap, but efficient. And, it's strong as hell.

I scratch built an entire line of Star Wars ships at work using nothing but office supplies and this method. I'll have to post pics of those in the non transformers customs.

Excellent, looks really good, especially as it's still clearly at the card n glue stage right now! Look forward to seeing this finished.

I created some concept models for the add-on and added them to the gallery.
I'm seriously thinking of producing more of these.
I just don't know if they would be in much demand.
    What do you all think?
And don't worry about hurting my feelings if that's a stupid idea. I can take it.

It's an awesome idea if you can really make them, and they look as slick as those concept models. You'd clean up on ebay for sure.

Be even better if you could figure out a really simple, but useful transformation for the trailer too. Might be a bigger pitas though :)

Man, if you could mass produce these, and it looks like your concept pics, I'd surely get one from you.

That's really cool, I am intrigued by your cardboard and superglue method as well.
