As neat as that looks, I think the helmet-thing fit the whole "this is military tech I'm just stealing" angle better.

But oh man would that have worked for a really silver-age influenced movie.

Eh...it's definitely great work, I'll say that much. Personally, though, the only way I would have preferred this is if the filmmakers had actually gone with the physical-metamorphosis angle/side-effect of the human performance enhancer or whatever, a la Jekyll and Hide, which IMO would have been no worse a deviation from the mythos - which itself, after all, is within a universe in which Bruce Banner turns big and green when he gets mad and Johnny Storm routinely ignites himself - than the organic web-shooters (which I've come to prefer over the "hand-built" comics versions, TBH).

    Wow –that mask looks great.
I really like it –sinister and yet very expressive.

I wish they had used ths.

In the main Marvel Universe Norman would slip into the Green Goblin persona and then he would wear the Green Goblin suit, but he physically looked the same under the mask.
In the Ultimate Marvel Universe he actually transforms into a ‘Green Goblin Monster’ similar to the way Bruce Banner turns into the Hulk.
The movie was going with the ‘puts on a Goblin costume’ version.

Looks pretty good, but I think it would have come off a little hokey if they went that route with the suit. I really liked GG's suit from the first movie.

Decent enough but I don't think I could have taken it seriously with those eyes.

They're way too huge and just look pretty goofy overall. Now if they toned them down I probably would have preferred that to what we got.

although this is cool, I actually prefer the suit of armour, sure it could have been better but it was better than the mask. mask is still cool though

    Another thing to mention-
Does anybody think that the original suit just needed a little purple? Thats actually the only problem I've ever had with the suit. Just to break up all the green...

Wow. I like the comic look. I hope they do it like that in the reboot series.

This is just amazing. I think better than that cheap mask we got in the movie. And that weird power ranger suit. It'll be hard to believe Osborn went through all that time applying makeup and everything to get in costume.

I could see this being used in Norman's hallucinations.

Kinda like if he was looking at himself in full armor, and his reflection takes the helmet off and shows him what he truly is inside. Perhaps during the final fight.
