i myself prefer the suit seen in the movie than the more faithful comic suit here

How anyone can prefer the suit they got over what we could have gotten here is beyond me.

The way that mask could emote is astonishing...

While I preferred the robotic design of the entire suit, I must say that this mask is definitely better.

I dont know. This looks pretty goofy.

Like a green Harlequin Ichthyosis Elf man. Doesn't really make me feel intimidated.

I still prefer the suit used in the movie. It just kinda had that Darth Vader factor to it.

Thousands of times better that the Power Ranger monster knock-off in the movie.

Much prefer this to the armored suit, from the movie. The movie suit looked too much like an Iron Man villain.

Agreed wholeheartedly. That scene where the Goblin and Spider-Man are talking and neither one has a visible face just fell completely flat, largely due to the lack of emoting on both parts.

...so why did they go for the armored one instead, exactly?

Meh. Not really floating my boat... Could be because I fgrew up with the one they went with, but this just looks silly.
Keep in mind that in the movie, the suit and glider was a military invention... does this look very military to any of you?

From what i read The Goblin suit we see in the movie was created after Dafoe was casted, after he Rejected every of the early costumes made for goblin (this suit could be one of them)

I'm a little lost. The character in the movie, was he supposed to transform into that creature at times (Like a werewolf, turns back human after time.) or was that actually just a mask that the character was supposed to wear in the movie when he went about his business killing people?

    Looks great either way IMO

Wow, that is infinitely preferable to what we got. I liked the armor of the final suit, but the mask just does NOT compare to this. The way it can emote is insane.

And UnicronFTW, while it was indeed a military invention, the mask was still Osborn's personal addition. He could've easily used this instead.

I know, but I mean in the movie was there originally something in the plot where due to that lab accident, at times he transforms into that creature and then back to human? Or am I reading your post wrong? I think I might be. D'oh.
