This ones gonna take some time.

Using a Divebomb for the job.

Removed vertical tail wings and mounted a center one.

Horizontal tailwings will be removed and relocated onto a rounded tail section.

A new left arm will be used and the former arm will be the permanent roof of the alt mode.

Main horizontal wings will fold up like the original Royal-T over the shoulders.

Progress Reports coming soon after botcon and some Leader-1 updates.:thumb

    UPDATED:

put some primered wing pics up and the modded missiles

I'm anxious, Royal-T is the only Gobot from my childhood I have left. Are you going to chop off the main wings and make them swivel so they fold back to be less noticeable and more cape-like in 'bot mode?

In theory the wings should be able to twist in both configurations
    Down(cape)

    Up(shoulder pads)

    Mini update.

Started installing the wing hinges to allow them to slide into the cape mode

    pic in first post.

In alt mode the wings now "dip down" for a more vintage look.

Nice hinge work! Did you fabricate the hinges? I would like to see some closeups of the hinges themselves for educational purposes!:thumbs2:

even though you've never asked, I've gone and fixed the typo in your thread title. hehehe

he's really looking good so far, man, kudos! Did you consider making the rear tailfins connected to the shins for even more accuracy? I know to make 'em show up on the front you'd have to have them able to fold around with a double-jointed pin hinge, but it wouldn't really be hard to do...

How much of the robot's front would you need to modify for this project?
