Should Earle return in another film? Should he be a villain? Should he be a villain's henchman/advisor cos of his knowledge of Wayne Enterprises? Perhaps he linked the experimental vehicle, Batmobile, to Wayne Industries? Maybe he uncovers Wayne is Batman?
I think its interesting to explore that angle, the vengeful ex-employee.

No. batman has a fantastic rogue gallery. We don't need to make up new villains. Anyway batman should have the villains, not Bruce Wayne.

Personally, I want to see Talia and Ra's al Ghul.

Well, I find it more interesting if both 'personas' have enemies, conflicts and personal problems. I like Batman, but was more drawn to Spider-man, my fave super hero, for that very reason. Just my thoughts.

I think Hand of Omega means they want Ra's to return (Remember he did have something to help him live longer) this time with Talia.

They already did that in a Batman film, Batman Forever.

    Yeah, Liam Neeson.

Also your poll needs a "Quit making polls and let the discussion do the talking" option :mad

If he returned and somehow said the line "I want more life" that would be awesome.

So you basically want to repeat what happened in TDK when the accountant discovered Bruce Wayne is Batman?

I wouldn't mind if Earle returned, but his usefulness in the story sort of ended with the ending of Batman Begins.

I resent that! A 'Batman film', hmph! LOL!

YES! That should be easy to arrange when he is near his doom. Omega Doom that is. ;)

I say Mad Hatter for next villian with Depp as the actor. He's already played the role so it shouldnt be a problem.

It feels too cliche for Chris Nolan.

Wow. This is a random-ass thread.

You forgot one option: "Hot Dog Vendor." To show how the mighty have fallen.

Didn't you get the memo? :p

I really can't see a point to him returning. He wasn't really a villain anyway, so it would be pretty weird to bring him back in that context.

Not really. Harvey Dent wasn't a villain initially.
Earle could still be at rock bottom, but has intimate Wayne Industries knowledge, like I said, maybe he links the 'Batmobile' and other things to Wayne and uses them as blackmail against Bruce - not knowing he is Batman. Then a criminal mastermind recruits him based on his Wayne link for intel.
I'm not saying he should be a major villain, just involved in some way.
I always thought to myself, "if I was him, I'd get pretty nasty and try to put one back on Wayne, to ruin him".

One person told me the other day that the premise suited a Spider-man, Daredevil or Superman film, but the idea didn't work for Batman. I still fail to see why.

Because Batman has the best rogues' gallery of any superhero. Bringing back Earle would take screen time away from characters we actually give a shit about.
