    Hi

I know Hasbro was for the US and Canada and Takara was the company for Japan. I have seen a lot of E Hobby variants of Transformers mostly different colors. However I do not know anything about E Hobby is it an offical company making transformers or more of a KO company?
Any help on this would be apprecitated.

neither. It's under the Tomy-Takara family I believe, but its still a separate company, its a store though, not a manufacturer. They just get exclusives same as other stores do, but their relationship with Takara gives them more of them.

Does anyone know the quailty of E Hobby figures? Are they metal or made mostly of plastic like the chinese ko's.

As Redline said, they are the exact same construction, only the colours differ. If you like them, go for it. I only have the Orion Pax & Dion set, and I absolutely love it. It really comes down to personal preference and if you are willing to spend the cash (they cost a little more because they are limited unlike the regular releases). Check the sale forum, I have seen a lot popping up there lately.

e-hobby stuff rocks. just go for them you wont be disapointed with any of them. The downside is some of them hase gotten expensiv and there is no hint at these high hitters dropping in price. Few of the high hitters are Astrotrain, Minibots and Sunstorm.

here is a pic of mine with some other stuff. picture is a few years old. All MISB

as mentiond above, if you got the money go after them.

I have been getting a few of the e-hobby figures lately. I picked up Detritus, crosscut, deepcover, twincast, & orion pax off the boards. I picked up hauler, magnificus, clampdown, insecticons & overcharge off ebay. I like the figures a lot. some of them even more than the regular release color. My favorites are crosscut and hauler. The orion pax figure turned out nice as well(If you like prime this is a great figure to have). They do not come cheap though.

Man, there are so many of those I want to get at some point. I have Sunstorm, but I still REALLY want the Minibots and Crosscut...

Yeah I definitely should have jumped when they were first released. I was super lucky to have gotten my Sunstorm about two years ago for $65 shipped. I always seem to get out of the loop with the eHobby stuff and forget when stuff is released.
