P.S.: I had to tell my friend that indeed Starscream had more red, but also some blue here and there and a much lighter gray.

P.S.2: now I'm not in a hurry and can proof-read what I type.

This is NOT a post about my feelings about the hip kibble, but, er...

Anyone else notice that on one of the pictures (the upper-right pic in the series of 4 pictures) the hip kibble has been Photoshopped out?

 

Considering either this or the cardboard trailer, it's a no brainer... and isn't that basically what ALL these trailers are?

 

Heh, I didn't pick up at first that the kiss thing was a WST. I saw it and thought that's the most crap alternator ever.  

 

Yes, but is a "plastic box" really worth an extra $100? I've already shelled out for both MP-01 and 20th Anniversery Prime. I'm not sure if I'm ready for round 2 when Takara is too damned cheap to even include Roller.

 

If you put G1 Prime/Convoy and MP Convoy side by side, you can see what makes MP Convoy a masterpiece. Looking at this Masterpiece trailer, than comparing it to the G1 trailer, it makes it hard to say this trailer truly is a "Masterpiece" design. The fan made ones look better than this. But then again, maybe I'm spoiled because of MP Starscream.  

 

i just hate starscream looks more maroon and blurple instead of red and blue x___o

but yeah. some of those shots he does almost look CG or something

That's probably my fave photoshop of the current mold I've seen. Real F-15E grey, G1 toy red and blue. Ditching the white stripes would be even better.

 

I e-mailed a certain well known on-line store to ask about Roller and they know about as much as we do for now, the reply I got was:

"There's no info about Roller being some sort of a club exclusive in any of the latest hobby magazines that I've seen here. However, there weren't any pictures of Roller seen together with the MP-04 Convoy so there's a possibility that they might pull something like this to earn more cash."

Damn and blast! The trailer sans roller just doesn't wow me enough to spend that much cash on. Maybe everyone could e-mail their on-line store of choice and maybe the stores can put pressure on TT to re-think the "club exclusive" move?

Unlikely I know... But where there's a will etc...

I think TakaraTomy is sticking on Japanese market so emailing to Hasbro might be more useful.

Now that would be an acceptable Starscream paint job, even with the kibble.

At least with that paint job you know with out a shadow of a doubt that it is indeed Starscream and not any other Seeker.
