They're produced based on the number ordered I believe. So we'll likely never know. Probably some where between 1,000 to 5,000?

I plan on putting him next to the Generations Thundercracker and in front of Unicron.

I've imagined all sorts of displays for this set.

The Decepticon set looks great (translucent purple is much nicer than Another Ghost Starscream), but I don't really need multiple versions of the same characters; at least not at that price.

I splurged on the Autobot one, though. Another Junkion with a head we're reportedly not getting in America, a great looking Rodimus who I can repurpose as "Avatar of Primus," and then Kup, who is less exciting, but depending on how he looks he might be my default Kup. Kup's a great character to do a battle-damaged version of, but I think I prefer the green on Generations to the blue of this one.

I don't get paid until next Wednesday so it's going to have to wait until then I don't think they'll sell out by then.

BBTS is already sold out of the Autobot set. When I checked a few weeks ago, TFSource and Toy Arena had about 20 sets left and Robot Kingdom had less than 50. Better hurry or you will regret it.

The smilies=joking around... I don't actually care about your specifics... just having a little fun with the juxtaposition of not waiting... but still waiting...

Though as 03Mach1 mentions.... pre-orders might be starting to get slim... and hey, I know BBTS doesn't charge pre-orders until the item's in stock anyway, though yes you might save a few bucks ordering at other places.

I do expect the second American release of the mold to use that instructions head... but assuming the mold isn't a terrible shelfwarmer, I'd expect the ehobby head to eventually show up on a third release(though probably a store exclusive somewhere). The TFCC magazine had an interview with a Hasbro designer talking about how he really like the Junkions in the animated movie and they created 3 heads for the mold from the start. It's not some extra head created just for the ehobby release.

I'm aware of that. And the TFCC interview isn't worded overly well; he doesn't specify what's coming to America or when. But still, the vague implications of what we might not get are enough to persuade me to get this set while it's available. Even if we do get all the heads in America (even if it takes a few years), I'll still be content that the e-hobby one has his own color scheme and is sufficiently rare. More Junkions to ride is never a bad thing :)  (except maybe for limited shelf space :lol  )

I don't disagree... just had to add the possibility the head could eventually come to America, as opposed to just:

It is also still just an assumption the instructions head will be the second one released in America... seems highly likely, but still an assumption.
