Love these guys, can't wait for them. Thanks for the pics, Masabon, those are great! Really gives a good sense of what the figures are like in-hand.

...and I feel really dumb for only realizing just now that SG Ratbat's colors are based on Batman. Derp.

I'll never understand why they made Blaster and Soundwave different sizes.

Because the Microchange line they both originated from predated the character scale used in Transformers fiction. That, and Blaster was designed to include electronics since his Microchange toy was a working radio.

They are both from earlier lines (microchange), which was part of the micro man toyline. Anyways, alt mode scale trumped robot scales.

Also if they were the same scale in robot mode, Blaster's cassettes would be tiny compared to Soundwave's.

So...this was announced after the TFCC exclusives, but TFCC is claiming a Hasbro problem in manufacturing the toys? I don't know all the ins and outs, but don't Hasbro and Takaratomy use the same production facilities?

I'm open to being wrong here, but the TFCC delay just looks like more shenanigans on their part.

Soundwave is based on Device Label Soundwave which was repurposed as SG Soundwave.

SG Ratbat was Walky's creation I believe, which existed in comics long before the announcement of the toy.

Only Rewind, Ramhorn and Solarbot never appeared in the comics before.

love the set! Wish i could get them now, but it looks like the middle of the year for me, IF prices are still reasonable. There's just too many awesome releases lately like MP-13 etc. I need to pick and choose my buys. :(
I think I'll put up a want list/ PM on the boards for this when the time comes. :lol

I know that, I meant that I wish that the two could be sold separately down the road so some of us who just want SG Soundwave could do so.
