Well that puts to rest the talk of him not having the double tape door.

Looking forward to this. Too bad there aren't more reissues in the pipeline. I won't know what to do with my money, what, spend it on my wife?

I don't think so. I'm fairly certain 95% of the fandom will either

    a) not be around as long as this thread is on page 1
    b) not click the thread for whatever reason
    c) not look at the pics for whatever reason
    d) forget about the pics for whatever reason and ask

and bring up the question over and over again for the next three or so years.

I'm glad they gave him a new tape. I bought an original TwinCast to get the special stickered SteelJaw. Had they'd gone with SteelJaw this time arround I'd be a little annoyed.

TOM, ever turn on the motor for Star Convoy and chase the kids or small animals around? That's fun.

I've seen some people mention in other threads that this is the last reissue? Is that true? If so I'm gonna have to spend a lot of money to finish off my 84-85 bots :(

Nothing on the schedule, reissue wise. Correct. No announcement that there are NOT any more, just none currently upcoming.

Cool, thanks for the clarification. I hope they don't end the TFC line, but the lack of reissues and BTs lately have really helped with my financial woes.

My wife and our mortgage completely agree with the above, lol... :lol

I'm also okay with the lack of announcements, 'cause my wallet's going to take a poundin' when Neo-G1 and 6" Titanium figures come out...

Couple of questions and I understand that it may have been answered elsewhere. Not been keeping track what's been said on the boards lately.

Why is Twincast in a Decepticon box? I say Destron on the box. So is he 'Con or 'Bot? I would have thought 'Bot due to being Soundblaster's nemesis.

On the original Blaster, there was a problem with the tape door button that always stayed in the down position after being pushed once. Has this problem been fixed with the reissues? Either of them. Just wonder if I should push that button or not. . .

The box is actually the eHobby box used for the Perceptor re-paint called Magnificus. Most likely it's a cost-saving move by Takara by using the same box. Other speculation is that since Flip Sides is a Decepticon double agent, they wanted to put both bots in a Con box. *Shrugs*

But Twincast is downright dreamy! Can't wait for him to get here!

The 'con box is e-Hobby reusing an old box and pinching pennies, or for a less negative outlook, putting resources toward the toy rather than the packaging.

I have the Broadcast reissue, and the buttons work perfectly.
