You should! He's fantastic. It's a very appealing color scheme for this mold. And frankly, to me this mold seems much more suited to Ultra Magnus than it was to Prime. He's arguably a better Classics Magnus than the one we got.

Thank you. One more for me to buy. If I can find one that doesn't cost close to $100 shipped. If Hasbro was smart they would issue this as a Classic. Anyone have one to trade or sell?

I personally would like to see a Magnus figure that has him combine with his trailer or something, rather than straight up Prime repaints.

That being said... I still own a Lazer Magnus.... pretty good figure.

 

An interesting piece, given the typical Ultra Magnus as white Prime repaint being disregarded in favor of a more diverse color scheme.

 

To bad they did not make a new trailer to be his armor. Maybe I will. I did just repaint a Laser Prime into Machine Wars Prime.

 

There's a lot of haters on this toy so the feedback on him pretty much swings that way, but personally I really liked this paint and the mold of course is top notch.

I love the figure. It seems a far more appropriate use of the mold for Magnus than Prime.

 

I love that figure, but seeing it's on clearance even at eHobby, it doesn't look like many people share the view  

 

I have been thinking, it's too bad they never did an E-hobby Ultra Magnus repaint of Godmaster Ginrai with a different head.

Could even just do the PM prime setup for Magnus, and Ultra Magnus, then add a Godbomber in magnus apropriate colors for God Magnus.

A missed oppurtunity, instead we god nuclean quest and burning Ginrai, oh well.
