I know we got in-packaging photos a few days ago, but for some reason the people who posted those photos didn't see it necessary to tell us whether the toy was officially out, or whether they had just obtained pre-release samples.

Anyway, this thread at the Japanese Transformers Image Board seems to suggest that e-Hobby has indeed shipped him.

I just picked mine up yesterday from RobotKingdom!!! It is on it's way from Hong Kong to me here in the States. I should get him either Monday or Tuesday!!!
So yes he has Officially been Released!!!

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. Yes, they are officially out. For a week now.

 

That's weird. According to my information the release date was 23/9. The shops could have had the toys earlier, but were not allowed to sell before the 23rd.

 

See, the problem is that this fandom is so spoiled with "first looks" of unofficially obtained pre-release items, thus photos of a toy in packaging don't automatically translate to "the toy is officially out" anymore.  

 

Odd I didn't get any confirmation from e-hobby nor a call from the takyuubin this week.

 

I didn't know there was any question it was actually out. But yes, it is. One of my suppliers surprised me greatly by showing it on their New Items for 9/22 e-mail list. So presumably is was released on the 22nd.

 

In future I shall post a receipt too so there's no doubt.

If someone doesn't do a gallery on this toy, while I'll...I'll....well, probably just keep whining here and there.

 

It looks nice in Blue. Not something I need for my collection though.
