ok, i know there are people out there that slip through Darwins rule of survival of the fittest, but come on!! how much more clearly described does a perfectly clear explanation of an item need to be for people to stop asking if the prime in my auction is complete, and if i can describe what he comes with. !!! errrg!! "you are bidding ON A SET OF REPRODUCTION STICKERS for primes trailer" how much more clear does it need to get. NOWHERE in the description, or title of my auction do i lead anyone to believe that there is a complete optimus prime for sale, yet in the weeks i have been selling my stickers, i have gotten wel over 30 questions all exactkly the same... infact, IT'S THE ONLY question i've ever gotten. Where in this description do i start to lose people? "You are buyiing a set of G1 Optimus Prime repoduction stickers for his Trailer. In 1985, Pepsi held a contest in canada, where you had to match 2 halves of optimus prime. you won a very limited edition optimus prime with the Pepsi logo across his trailer. In the US, this was a small set of stickers, but here in canada, the stickers covered the entire trailer and rear door. that is what you get here. a reproduction set of full size canadian edition pepsi stickers to convert your prime into the highly sought after Canadian edition Pepsi prime." i've just stopped answering. What do you guys do to cope with stupid people?
Yeah, I sell alot of stuff on eBay and there's always someone stupid asking a stupid question. Usually I answer the first one polightly and have it posted to the actual auction. After that I usually either ignore the question or tell them to re-read the auction for their answer as I'm a very buisy person.
Whoa!!! You're selling a complete G1 Canadian Pepsi Optimus Prime! Is he complete? Please answer me. Mwahahahaha Just kidding man
Put everything in the largest font available, underline it, bold it, and use the color "red" on the font, hehehe, maybe then they'll get it. . . . then again, maybe not.
Simplest answer to that is don't use eBay. I hate using it personally both for buying and selling. Spencer.
We'll there are presummed "idots" so don't bother yourself dealing with them because its a complete waste of time.
you have to pay me first. (thanx btw. saving up to replace a $900 lense for my camera, every small bit helps)
It might help to put an additional disclaimer in the auction, separate from the current description stating something like: "This auction is for the STICKERS ONLY, the Optimus Prime figure is NOT INCLUDED in this auction" I agree that ebay shoppers should be able to discern this from the current description, but you also have to consider that many users are not as intelligent as you or I may be. You gotta dumb it down for the lowest common denominator.
lol I think the problem is that you used the word trailer, this made those people flip out that are in this condition, you should have just said "You are buying a set of G1 Optimus Prime reproduction stickers. The second you put trailer this made the idiot level go off, this is the same thing happened once to me and my gf at a drive through, my gf, told the guy plain in the box at Taco Bell, she likes just meat and cheese on her taco. I told her to say, no lettuce, but after she said plain the guy spaced out for several minutes and I told her this had blown his pre-programmed response. I understand these are stickers for just his trailer, but if you want to know the truth this is it, lol it's sad but true.
I hear ya... I try avoid e-bay as much as possible from a selling perspective. Got two negative feedback from idiots... one guy never responded to my e-mails and left negative feedback, and another guy left negative feedback after his item didn't arrive after two weeks without even asking me about it. I hate how people just assume and do dickhead things without asking the seller the right question (or in your case not reading/comprehending the description). It's like they just barrel along without taking the two seconds required to make an informed decision. *sigh* people are stupid

There are a lot of dumb people on ebay. Some people are just sneaky too like when I sold my extra Botcon Thrust and a guy offered me 10 whole dollars for it (with shipping)!! I realize people are trying to save money but COME ON! I laughed and politely declined while selling it for close to $200.
like this offer i JUST GOT!!! Dear wheeljaxxprime, spongebob(rest removed for privacy) has made the following offer for your item. Offer price: US $5.00 Buyer message: What is shipping and handleing Buyer: spongebob2725 Current price: US $140.00 Current offers: 1 End date: Sep-22-07 09:14:17 PDT. I told him to stop wasting my time. like i'll have a change of heart and accept just cuz he has a cutesy name
My worst eBay moron was when I was selling my BotCon bagged set. I had someone repeatedly ask if he bought more than one would I give him a 50% discount on the second. I told him no many times. His final high bid was 70 dollars COMBINED on the three seekers.
