Hmmm......Might be kinda hard to do.

    What figure?

Also, here's a link to my very old homepage. On it is a link to some dyeing faq's. They're about halfway down. There's a couple different methods there.

I actually tried your method Tfgrave I found it worked slightly better with accetone mixed in did you do yours on a gas or electric stove as I wasn't able to get it to take the color without the accetone

I did mine on an electric stove.

I also found that acetone helps greatly. :)

I agree with the acetone. It definitely helps. I just used a cap full and could tell the difference. How much does everyone else use? The only info I could read on an acetone method involved soaking the parts in full acetone (no water or heat).

I have used an electric stove before, but found gas much easier for controlling heat (which is almost always just above the lowest setting).

I am about to do my LOC Sunstorm tonight.

Check the link to my homepage, and then look for Sdtessmann's Dyeing faq. He does a nice write up on using acetone.

I wouldn't use straight acetone. It'll melt certain plastics. I dissovled most of a throttlebot once. :)
