TFSource seems to be a crapshoot on getting stuff earlier. They seem to get DX9 stuff before BBTS at least.

...does anyone know why BBTS didn’t even solicit preorders for sonic wizard until after everyone else already had him in stock?..previously they’ve always been really good about stocking the full line of war-in-pocket figures, better than most other retailers...

Anyone got this in hand yet? Keen to hear the verdict on whether you need a spudger or not.

TFDirect shows these in stock but no sign at BBTS or TFSource. Curious that shipping on Thorner at TFDirect is free but not on Rager.

Haven't transformed him yet. His jaw was really tight opening it the first time. I'm guessing a few things will need a pry tool initially. I already feel like I need a superego for a couple bots need to pick one up so stop using Calidus' bow. :)

I'll mention my findings when I post some higher res pics later.

Got my notice too! That was sooner than expected.
Thorner arrived too! So DX9 has released everything that it announced at the beginning of the year; pretty damn good!

Got my notice as well. Now that we have everything previously solicited they need to drop a bunch of upcoming stuff on us. I wonder what they're waiting for?

Also, a geek moment for me if you will. I have NEVER owned a full set of dinobots. Never got the G1. Found G2 Snarl and Slag at KB Toys one time. Owned the TFAnimated Grimlock, Slag and Swoop. Had the Hasbro Generations Grimlock deluxe and the FOC Grimlock voyager years ago. Cannot afford 3p/MP scaled. So I finally have a full team that I could afford. It's been a long time.

The tough part for me was getting the panel on the dino neck open to get at the robot head. After some wiggling I got under it with the tip of his sword. Once you get that open there is a square opening on the opposite side of where the robot head is stored. You can push it out with the handle of the sword or blaster.

Here's a few more pics. I feel like he looks better in hand. Through the lens the rib cage wings disappear behind his shoulders but in hand they properly add to the silhouette. The opposite happens when you photograph him from the back. :)
